How Dairy Affects Your Child's Eczema

Let’s talk dairy! Dairy is something that can cause some serious challenges with your children (and adults, too!) Cheese, milk, and yogurt products tend to cause excess mucous in the body. This extra phlegm and inflammation can lead to symptoms like mucus, congestion, and skin issues (such as eczema). The body is DESPERATELY trying to rid itself of the toxins or the cause of inflammation, so it spits it out through the skin, ears/nose, throat, sweat, or bowels/urine. For these reasons, you might even see symptoms like immune dysfunction and common earaches.

Unfortunately dairy products sadly add to these problems. Womp. Womp. I know it’s not fun to hear, but trust us! If you remove dairy, even temporarily, we believe you’ll see a difference in these symptoms.
